Pass or no pass?

For or against Covid vaccines, right or wrong, therein lies not the question. That debate is a smokescreen while our nations attempt to create a permanent health pass. This measure, which does not comply with criminal law framework, condemns its citizens, who have committed no offense, to deprivation of liberty, loss of employment and marginalisation. This is extremely serious. I had dared, in a previous Wednesday Shot, to compare it with the Chinese social credit that uses a carrot and stick approach : if you don’t do what the Party asks of you, then you are banned from taking the train, from employment, from going to the cinema. If we do not react, this health pass will become the norm and with it, we will witness infringements on our private life, on medical confidentiality, on individual physical integrity and on our basic right to come and go. It is urgent that we react now and participate in the appeal to the European Court of Human Rights: https://nopass.fr/agir.php. Let’s not forget how easily our governments commute temporary measures to definitive ones. If we don’t take our destiny into our own hands now, by November 15th, in France, it will already be too late.
